Safety Tips

Here are some safety tips to help you reduce accidents in the shower:

Clear up any water spillages immediately to avoid accidents
Consider installing a thermostatic shower to ensure regulation of water temperature whilst other appliances are being used
Shower doors should be made of safety glass or heavy duty plastic
Floor surfaces should be as practically non-slip as possible
Grab rails can be installed to give extra support
Mats or non-slip surfaces can be used in showers and baths
For mobility problems consider level-access showers and installation of a shower seat
